Indian Army destroys Pak army posts, terror launch pads and killed 5 Pak soldiers
Four terror launch pads in Neelam valley in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir have been targeted and destroyed by the Indian Army, sources said. Five Pakistani Army men have been killed in retaliatory firing.

Indian Army has launched attacks on terrorist camps situated inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) opposite the Tangdhar sector.

Indian Army used artillery guns to target the terrorist camps which have been actively trying to push terrorist into Indian territory. Indian Army has caused heavy damage there. Heavy weapons have been used by the army.

Posts assisting terrorist infiltration in Sunday night were quickly identified and hit after Pak used artillery fire targeting civilian areas, army sources said.

This came after two Indian soldiers and a civilian were killed after Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Tanghar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday.

The civilian killed has been identified as Mohd Sadiq (55). Those wounded are Mohd Maqbool (70), Mohd Shafi, (50) and Yusuf Hamid (22).

A house and a rice godown were completely damaged, two cars damaged and two cow shelters with 19 cattle & sheep inside, destroyed.

According to locals, maximum damage has been done in Chitrakoot village where six houses have been destroyed in Pakistani firing.

According to a statement by the Indian Army, "Indian forces cause heavy damages and casualty to Pakistan after two Indian soldiers and one civilian were killed in ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army in Tangdhar sector (Jammu and Kashmir) today."

Last night Pak Army initiated unprovoked CFV to assist infiltration by terrorists into Indian territories. As a result calibrated escalation of area weapons was undertaken by the Indian side in which terrorist launch pads, Pak Army Posts giving incidental protection to these launch pads and certain gun positions were hit, said an army source.

Indian Army retains the right to respond at a time and place of it’s choosing in case Pak Army continues to assist terrorist activities across Indian borders, army said.

A similar escalation in the Tangdhar sector took place On July 30, when Pakistan resorted to heavy artillery firing, causing damage to property and also injuring some people. Fortunately, there were no deaths but locals have been living in fear since then.

Pakistan plays the blame game

Pakistan has claimed that nine Indian soldiers have been killed in Pak Army firing, also said that one Pakistan Army soldier and 3 Pakistani civilians died in the exchange of fire. Pakistan also accused India of unprovoked firing targetting civillians.
